The Amphibious Armored Battle Foritfication Construction Equipment Project (AZMIM) commissioned to FNSS Defense Systems Co., the only company submitting an offer, decided by the Industry Executive Committee of Defense Ministry in December of last year has come to life after a contract has been signe after the completion of ongoing negotiations between Undersecretariat of Defense Ministry and FNSS. The work which sets forth the design and development of an original vehicle by FNSS, and which is also scheduled to start within the scope of a contract covering logistical support and training services, is expected to be completed in 2 months. 12 vehicles are planned to be manufactured. FNSS expects the vehicle it will develop to receive a lot of interest in the international market since there is no vehicle similar to it in the range of world defense products. The vehicles which will used at the service of our fortification units, will enhance the capability of our army by making convenient the landing at the shores across river while increasing the attack power of our army to a considerable degree.
