Nurol Makina, one of the armored land vehicle manufacturers of the Turkish defense industry, is rapidly moving in domestic and foreign markets with the armored combat vehicle Ejder Yalçın 4×4. Ejder Yalçın also contributed in operational aspects to the security forces by experiencing the cross-border experience in Operation Olive Branch after Operation Euphrates Shield. Working hard on the export while continuing to develop Ejder Yalçın, Nurol Makina reaped the rewards with the first sale made in Tunisia last year. Nurol Makina, which participated in introductions and tests in many countries to add new countries next to Tunisia while meeting domestic orders, also received responses to these efforts. Vehicles showed their performance by participating in the tough tests in seven countries, including Romania, Slovakia and Uzbekistan last year. This success achieved by the armored vehicles in the field and in the market, reflected in the economic indicators of the company. Nurol Makina realized sales amounting to $131 million last year. The most striking improvement was in the export figures. The company realized an export amounting to $400,000 in 2016 and last year this figure surpassed $50 million last year. Export revenue had a share of 5 percent in turnover in 2016, last year this rate had climbed to 40 percent. Considering the orders from Nurol Makina for the next year, it is expected that the share of exports in turnover will exceed 50 percent in 2018.
