Community Development Supports

Members of the Lapseki Umut Işığı Women’s Entrepreneurship Cooperative, founded by TÜMAD Madencilik, along with women stakeholders from Yeniceköy, have formed meaningful collaborations in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8) and World Environment Day (June 5). Lavender sachets, fabric bags, and composting sacks produced by the women were purchased by TÜMAD Madencilik, and were distributed both as gifts to female employees and for use in compost distribution. This initiative is an important step in supporting women’s labor and raising environmental awareness.
