Nurol BAE Systems Hava Sistemleri A.Ş.’s (“BNA”) 49% shares owned by BAE Systems were taken over by Nurol Holding as of November 21, 2022. In this context, the new title of our company, which has become 100% owned by Nurol Holding, has been changed to Nurol Kontrol ve Aviyonik Sistemleri A.Ş.
Alistair Castle, General Manager of BAE Systems Türkiye, stated that the proposed divestment of their shares in BNA is in line with their strategy to grow their advanced combat air capabilities business in the Turkish market, that they have always had a good working relationship with Nurol and that they will continue to explore opportunities to work together in the future.
Gürol Çarmıklı, Member of the Board of Directors of Nurol Holding A.Ş., stated that they are always open to collaborations with BAE Systems, and that he believes that their cooperation in the past with a good working understanding will enable new joint opportunities.
BAE Systems is a key supplier in the TF-X cooperation project with the Turkish Aerospace Industry, which continues to play a key role in the strategy to develop the Turkish market in the long term.
