The first step has been taken towards the realization of Ankara-Izmir High-Speed Train (HST) project, one of the 35 projects planned to be implemented by the Ministry of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications for Izmir. After years of discussions, studies and practical projects, Ankara-Izmir High-Speed Train project has not come to the construction stage. 26 companies submitted their offers for the first lap of the project, namely the Ankara-Afyonkarahisar section of 169 kilometres. For the HST project, which will reduce the driving time between Izmir and Ankara to 3,5 hours, the offers were received today and 26 companies applied for the undertaking. Nurol Construction was one of the bidding companies with its partnership with Özka Construction.
