The former President of Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) Yusuf Gunay, who is currently acting as an advisor to the Ministry of Energy Georgia, said that six Turkish companies were conducting works to establish Hydroelectrical Power Plants (HPP) in Georgia. Gunay said: “Nurol, EnerjiSa, Anadolu Group, Limak, Agaoglu Group and Kolin Construction are willing to invest in Georgia. The total investment cost of the establishment of the planned plants will be 2 billion dollars”. Turkish companies will sell the electricity energy they produced in Georgia to Turkey and to the EU countries.
